50 YEAR JEWEL PRESENTATIONS
On June 24, 1954, Bro. Ed MacFarlan (30) along with his work colleague and friend, Bro. Leroy (Roy) Nourse (25) became members of Cascade Lodge # 5 in Banff. 50 years later on June 24, 2004, The Worshipful Master, W. Bro. Bryan Gerrie, accompanied by V. W. Bro. Tom Brown (who was Chaplain of the Lodge in 1954), W. Bro. Ty Smith, W. Bro. Vito Giannandrea, R. W. Bro. Butch Whitbread, Bro. Stephen Moore (SW), V. W. Bro. Les Punshon, Shirley Nourse, Allie Whitbread and Kathy Punshon paid a visit to Bro Ed at his home in Calgary to present both Brothers with their 50 year jewels.
A very enjoyable evening was had and both Brothers were congratulated and thanked for their loyalty to their Mother Lodge.
