Worshipful Master's Message

RW. Bro. Butch Whitbread
W. M. Cascade Lodge # 5
June 2008
Brethren, due to unforeseen circumstances, the Fellowcraft Degree will not be held in June. We hope to be able to reschedule it for September. I am expecting some special guests at our June meeting, so please come out and make them feel welcome. It should be good evening.
Where do you want to see the Lodge to be 5 years from now, and where do you see yourself in your participation in the Lodge over the next 5 years? Our Masonic education in June will discuss this thought.
I hope to see a good number of members out.
I look forward to seeing you.
Fraternally,
Butch Whitbread
May 2008
Brethren, I request your support in attending this meeting. It seems lately that we have been barely able to have enough members to make a quorum. Without the strong support of our visitors, it would be a challenge to hold the meeting. Please mark you calendars, not just for this month, but for every month on the second Thursday.
I look forward to seeing you.
Fraternally,
Butch Whitbread
Brethren, we will be conferring the second degree on three of our own brethren and one
from Perfection Lodge at this meeting. Come out to the meeting and show your support for our new members. I have not had any volunteers for doing work in the third degree planned for May, so I will be on the phone arranging members very shortly. Hope to see many of you at this meeting.Fraternally,
Butch Whitbread
Brethren,
it is an honour and privilege to serve as Master of this Lodge for a second
time. I thank the members for putting their faith in my abilities. The officers
who have been elected and appointed to assist me are of excellent quality and I
am confident that we will have a very successful year.
I look forward to seeing many of you out to our meetings this year to support this slate of officers. We will be busy throughout the year, starting with a F.C. degree for 2 or 3 candidates in March and a M.M. degree in April or May. I will be looking for members to do work in the M.M. degree. If you are interested, please let me know.
Fraternally,
Butch Whitbread
